Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed through a garlic press
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 6 bone-in chicken thighs

Serves 4 to 6

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger.
  3. Place the chicken pieces on an aluminum foil-lined baking tray, skin side up.  They should be close together but not touching. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and turn them over several times to make sure each is well coated.
  4. Bake the chicken for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces over and cook for 10 minutes more.
  5. Serve hot with any extra sauce from the baking tray spooned over the top.
