Green Goddess Dip

Green Goddess is an old-time dip that never goes out of style. Created in San Francisco in the 1920s for actors in the play, "The Green Goddess", this creamy dip with fresh herbs is perfect with crisp vegetables.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 1 green onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar or white wine vinegar

Makes 1 1/4 cup

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.  Serve as a dip with crisp vegetables or potato chips.
